  43. 1200 to 1500 is a normal speed for a 14.4 modem I am afraid the only
  44. other option you would have is to buy a faster modem. But you may want
  45. to look at MNP4 compression but don't use MNP5 as the compression from
  46. it will actually make the files you are trying to get bigger.
